Bouncy Castle and Inflatable Health and Safety
RPII Certification:.
PIPA Tagged:
All of our inflatables are PIPA tagged and tested by a PIPA Inflatable Inspector giving you additional assurances that our inflatables are designed and manufactured to the recognised BSEN 14960: 2019 standards based on safety. Our range is tested by a nationally qualified inspector and our equipment is approved for commercial use. The tags that we use can be checked against a national database so ensuring our equipment is fully traceable for safety at all times.
As part of our commitment to safety our bouncy castles, activity play units, inflatable slides and assault courses are independently PIPA inspected, tagged and certificated. If the inflatable you are planning on hiring doesn’t come with any traceable way of checking its safe for use DON’T hire it, and challenge the company to prove its safety.
PIPA is the only inspection and testing scheme recognised by the HSE. We suggest that you don’t take a risk with untested dangerous inflatables supplied by others, book with confidence and ensure your event uses tested equipment.
Electrical Safety Assured:
All of our electrical equipment is tested annually by certified Portable Appliance Testers (PAT) and is checked for safety.
Public Liability Insurance:
Whether the inflatable is located indoors or out, our range is covered by Public Liability Insurance of £10 million giving you the peace of mind that we are covered.
Insurance Certificate is available on request
Risk Assessments are available for all equipment on request.
We also carry additional insurance cover for licensed premises which is a requirement as the standard insurance does not cover this.
Staff training.
All staff are fully trained in the safe operation and installation of all our hire equipment and have taken the RPII operators and supervisors examinations.
The content covers everything from manual handling, safe setup of an inflatable outdoors and inside (the do’s and don’ts), wind speeds and other setup requirements and how to measure, anchorage, impact areas, what is required in a routine inspection (what you should do every time you hire a unit) how to supervise a castle safely, duties as an operator/attendant or supervisor and many other things.
1st Aid Training |
Our staff have also been on a first aid training course, also covering, basic life support of the unconscious patient, choking, anaphylaxis and hemorrhage.
